Ocular Disease/Primary Care Optometry Resident
Dr. Cheema is a native of Brooklyn, New York, and was raised in Columbus, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University and then pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry. There, she was actively involved in the National Optometric Student Association (NOSA), the American Optometric Student Association (AOSA), and Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH). Dr. Cheema completed her clinical training at the Illinois Eye Institute, North Coast Eye Care, Providence Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and the Cornea and Contact Lens Institute of Minnesota. Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Cheema enjoys attending music festivals, traveling, photography, and exploring museums.
