Ocular Disease/Primary Care Optometry Resident
Dr. Chin was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry. During his time at SUNY, Dr. Chin trained under Dr. Anupam Laul in the Glaucoma Microcredential Program. He received the Dr. William M. Eisenberg Memorial Award for Excellence in Ocular Disease. Dr. Chin also completed his clinical training at SUNY Optometry’s Advanced Care Clinic, NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, NYU Langone Faculty Practice, and SUNY Optometry University Eye Center. In his free time, Dr. Chin enjoys spending time with his two cats, exploring the New York Botanical Garden, and traveling.
