BronxCare Receives Full Joint Commission Accreditation

BronxCare Health System’s May 2014 full accreditation from the Joint Commission, the nation’s leading accrediting authority for hospitals, is a tribute to the dedicated efforts of our team. The accreditation process involved a comprehensive and detailed review of our hospital’s quality of care, as well as patient safety and satisfaction levels. The survey results, which also included our outpatient practices, are a confirmation of BronxCare’s excellence.

We commend our medical, nursing, administrative, and support staff, as well as Board of Trustees and our employees for a truly exceptional performance during the survey and throughout the year. Their determination, compassion, and expertise have helped BronxCare lead the way in providing patient centered care.
