BronxCare Health System, in conjunction with the Mount Sinai Health System, is moving forward to address the cancer needs of the Bronx community with a state-of-the-art facility located at 1775 Grand Concourse, Bronx, New York. The new facility encompasses more than 10,000 square feet of space for a multidisciplinary specialty oncology approach. It includes expanded treatment areas with dedicated chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusion suites, as well as modern and user-friendly registration and reception areas.

The cancer care facility, led by Dr. Kevin R. Jain, Director, BronxCare Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Care, and Chief, Medical Oncology and Hematology, includes an expert team of oncologists, certified oncology nurses, and experienced support staff. A specialized pharmacy is also located directly onsite. There, board-certified oncology pharmacists prepare and dispense chemotherapy in partnership with the physicians.

Cancer care patients have available to them BronxCare’s full scope of Surgical, Gynecological, and ENT specialties, as well as advanced Interventional, Diagnostic, and Therapeutic Radiology care. Patients also have access to Mount Sinai’s renowned specialty services.

The BronxCare Mount Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Care facility represents an important milestone in responding to the many challenges associated with this life-threatening and most serious disease. More than 30,000 patient visits are expected to be provided annually at the Comprehensive Cancer Care facility, a number that is expected to significantly increase in response to the major needs of the community.
