Dr. Jose Tiburcio serves as Vice Chairman of Family Medicine and Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at BronxCare. In addition, as Medical Director of BronxCare’s new Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 174th Street Medical Practice, Dr. Tiburcio and his experienced team of physicians, nurses, and staff are providing quality and comprehensive primary and specialty services, as well as expanding access to care for patients and the community.

Dr. Tiburcio’s extensive leadership and academic experience, in addition to his expertise in the field, are clearly benefiting his patients, their families, and the community. It is noteworthy that his educational background includes advanced fellowship training, a degree in healthcare administration leadership, and professional development in emerging medical technologies through distinguished medical schools and universities. He is also actively involved in numerous national, statewide, and Bronx-based initiatives to improve health care delivery and achieve successful patient outcomes.
