BronxCare’s Department of Surgery is at the forefront of advancing technology. Under the leadership of its Chairman, Dr. William Lois, this department is continuing to recruit highly trained surgeons who bring the highest caliber of surgical skills and their proven experience, clearly helping patients and the community.

At BronxCare, a full range of general surgical services, including gastrointestinal surgery and surgical oncology as well as bariatric and breast surgery, are provided. Advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries are also available, and a Comprehensive Breast Care Center is responding to the needs of the community.
