Surgical Oncology is integrated with Gastrointestinal Surgery to address the high incidence of cancer cases in the community. It is staffed by a well-trained surgical oncologist, Dr. Matthew Furman, and other Surgery department members, as well as gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and nurses. This team is providing the highest level of care by using the most advanced techniques, including robotic and laparoscopic methods.
