BronxCare Health System, a major teaching hospital and health system, now has an important opportunity for an Internal Medicine Physician to provide patient care and clinical leadership for its Healthy Mind and Body Initiative for Seniors. This position provides a unique opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in building a clinical Geriatrics Program for the Bronx community. It also offers opportunities to train residents and medical students and conduct clinical research, in addition to an academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Responsibilities include clinical practice and surgery, teaching, and research.
BronxCare’s Ophthalmology Department has 14 Ophthalmologists and eight Optometrists as well as Ophthalmology and Optometry residents. Its Ophthalmology practices are well-equipped with Humphrey VFs; Optos wide-field retinal camera; Heidelberg and Topcon OCTs; corneal topographers; optical biometers; YAG, Argon and SLT lasers; non-mydriatic fundus cameras; A-& B-scans. The operating rooms have Zeiss microscopes, Alcon phacoemulsification equipment, Trabectome, cryo units, and various glaucoma stents and shunts.

BronxCare Health System, a major teaching hospital and health system, now has an important opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Obstetrician & Gynecologist to direct the Division of Gynecology. The OB/GYN Department has 29 faculty members, 14 midwives, 5 NPs, 3 PAs and 18 residents providing 70,000 outpatient visits annually with subspecialists present onsite, including gynecological oncology (1), female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery (2), minimally invasive gynecological surgery and robotics (1), reproductive endocrinology and infertility (1), and maternal fetal medicine (3). The gyn service is very busy with a dedicated ambulatory suite exclusively for gyn in addition to block time availability every day of the week in the main OR.
Qualified candidates must be Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and have excellent clinical and surgical skills as well as the credentials to qualify for academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (BronxCare’s medical school affiliate).
