BronxCare Health System has been caring for HIV and AIDS patients since 1986.
The mission of the HIV/AIDS Program is to provide care and education for patients with HIV/AIDS and to help individuals at risk prevent HIV infection and transmission. The HIV/AIDS Program is located in the BronxCare Center for Comprehensive Care (CCC) where HIV patients—both adult and pediatric— receive primary, specialty, and supportive care and services. The Program offers testing, counseling, condom distribution, as well as other prevention activities.
