BronxCare Health System

During these difficult and unsettling times, the BronxCare Health System is fulfilling its 100-year tradition of Caring for the Bronx by opening its arms to heal, to teach, and to care.

At BronxCare, our top priority is the health and safety of patients, their families, and the community, as well as employees. As the Coronavirus Pandemic evolves, BronxCare’s physicians, nurses, and all its employees are on the front line responding to this crisis with expertise, compassion, and vigilance.

The BronxCare team is working every day, 24/7, to make sure our patients receive needed care and attention. Their dedication and commitment in delivering quality care in a safe environment is clearly making a lifesaving difference.

We express our gratitude and deepest sense of appreciation to the entire BronxCare team for meeting the challenges and ever increasing demands of this unparalleled crisis. Please join us in saying thank you to them by emailing heroes@BronxCare.org.

In accordance with New York State Department of Health Guidelines to all hospitals in the State regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), BronxCare is suspending all visitations. The only exceptions will be for medical necessity when a visitor is essential to the care of the patient, as well as for family members or legal representatives of patients in end-of-life situations. When a birth is involved, only the husband or significant other, and not the grandparents, will be allowed to visit. Visitors meeting these exceptions must first be screened for symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, or fever) or potential exposure to someone with COVID-19.

Our BronxCare family thanks you for your cooperation and understanding during this difficult time period for all of us.
