He is responsible for a department that offers highly specialized and technologically advanced imaging services, 24/7. His skilled team of radiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, technologists, and nurses provide this wide range of needed radiological services. Dr. Ishak is also involved in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards as well as reinforcing and developing policies and procedures related to radiation safety for patients and hospital-wide staff. “BronxCare's physicians depend on our proven ability to provide them with the radiologic images and reports needed to make an accurate diagnosis and assessment to determine the appropriate treatment for their patients,” stated Dr. Ishak.
As his Department of Radiology moves forward, Dr. Ishak is continually striving to make sure that patients are highly satisfied—before, during, and after their exams and procedures. "We are clearly accomplishing this goal for them," stated Dr. Ishak.
